
Catbird sightings date back to 1786, when they were much more abundant due to more habitat. There are several myths based upon the catbird, as people made them out to be an incarnate of evil.
Although some have been captured and domesticated, we do not advise on keeping the catbird as a household pet. They are very unpredictable and scare easily.
