Holography stole my heart.

Yeah, it’s been a while. I had some adventure time with post office and custom services – woohoo! But I’m back!

90′s are back for good and one of the best things is back with them – HOLOGRAPHY. Yeah, I know that it’s a little bit late to talk about it as a fresh trend, but for me it still is. Old love is back. Holography came back to me together with Hussein Chalayan’s collection for FW ’12 – one of the models entered the runway wearing leggings, for which I’m ready to sell my kidneys. I don’t know what’s so attractive about holographic things – maybe the mix of metallic and rainbow? Haha. Something so “cold” and plain together with sweet and childish memory? All I know is that they make perfect combination with basic things, completing the whole look (see Chalayan again). But holographic & “petrol” patterns will stay with us for another seasons. In many combinations – not only silver, but black, yellow etc. Of course there’re a lot of beautiful holographic shoes waiting for your feet to slip in them. One of my personal favorites are Miista Zoe (which you can get at Solestruck – click the image below!) – they remind me of the ones designed by Chalayan. My personal number one designer – Stella McCartney, is a little bit in love with 90′s too – she created beautiful holographic accessories for SS’13. I love her even more.

Another 90′s obsession. Yessss. Probably everywhere soon.

And now – the pictures!

Blumarine FW’12 RTW

I guess that McQueen was first with his “jellyfish” vision and Lady Gaga just make it more mainstream with Bad Romance video.

Topshop Unique FW ’12

Of course I got myself nice colorful thing too.

Proenza Schouler holographic PS11 – pure awesomeness.
