You may have heard me talk about it before.. that list I mentally keep of designers who can do no wrong; Simone Rocha is on that list and for damn good reason. Every season it’s like she’s been hacking into my inspiration and wishlist folders and designing an out-of-my-price-range collection to haunt my future dreams. So rude, if you ask me!
Her Fall/Winter 2013 collection is off the charts- albeit there are some slight hints to Big Bird in the mix- it’s pretty on point for me. The lucite shoes are the real killer. Call her a one trick pony, but I’m all for it (I’m one myself, we ride or die together). Especially paired with 60s inspired coats and fur dresses.. it’s a dream come true. Here’s my highlights:
She also plays with a bit of 90s does 60s revival, which is incredible! The fuzzy metallic of it all, and that vinyl leopard! So good.
Now for the truly heartbreaking part of the story.. THOSE GODDAMN SHOES! I would do despicable things for those shoes- and I am NOT joking.
Just fucking shoot me.
