1) I am normally very influenced by winter, with days becoming shorter, darker etc. and I sleep A LOT. Fresh, funky and flirty, but especially for a 2011 shoe lover from LA we have to have the best. I’m 22 going on 23 (January 5th!), I’m married, just graduated college, living happily with my husband and our two dogs, working 6 days a week. I love my life but sometimes I feel like I put too much responsibility on my life, and like I’ve forced myself to grow up too fast. My goal for 2011 is to loosen the grip I’ve got on my own life a bit. Work less, enjoy life more. Travel more, go out with my friends more, go out to a museum or a garden, shows, parties, art galleries, pursue my hobbies more, and just generally get into a rhythm of life that is more relaxed, fun, and enjoyable. I love splurging on shoes and whenever i see that some cute shoes are sold for a very low price, I always get them and end up with tons of cheap bad quality stuff I’m embarassed to wear afterwards:D

Ok so I tried so damn hard to win the jeffrey campbell giveaway i was up all night posting on your facebook! lol and I had 2 of your favorites that you posted the next day. not one but two!
Okay, so for 2011. There is always the obvious resolution, get in shape. lol just a basic.
But my real resolution is to be crazy! I know what your thinking that isnt really a resolution? Well for me it is, I am such a reserved person and extremley quiet like 90% of the time. So in 2011 I want to be fun and spontaneous and be careless! My senior year is almost half way over and I need to PARTY and be CRAZY! And we both know someone can do this looking killer in a pair of Matiko shoes!
Another thing is go to Europe. I want explore England, Scotland, and Ireland! And possibly bag myself a hottie with a accent, in my new hottie shoes!

In 2011 I will start my own show company. I am a student at the fashion institute of technology and will be graduating this year with an associates degree in accessories design, and will continue with the bachelor program in the fall.
I clearly LOVE shoes and it feels like the time for me to burst out of the college bubble and start my own company! In 2011 I will devote my weekends to sketching and designing rather than going out and having fun like normal college students.
In 2011 I WILL start my shoe line, and MATIKO has inspired me and motivated me to do so.

In 2011 my plans are to rock my last year of high school!
I don’t know about you guys, but here in Australia the last year of high school is our most important year of schooling, as the end mark we receive of all of our subjects together determines if we get into the university course we desire. So it is the pretty much “make all” or “break all” year. Needless to say a very busy year ahead of me.
But I know no matter how stressed I am, how tired I am or how drained I am next year, if you choose to kindly pick me as one of your winners, next year will be a little more bearable wearing a fabulous pair of Matiko shoes!

I also want to go on a 10 day tour in Israel, which I intend to save up for because I think I’ll value the trip more if I pay for it myself instead of just getting my parents to pay for it. Concerning my studies, I want to top my cohort with the highest grade point average! People say it’s impossible but I take that as a challenge. 
Lastly, I just want to impact the people around me, be it in big ways or small ways (like supporting them when they go through heartache or even just telling a joke to make them laugh). I used to think that if I want to make myself happy, I have to live for myself all the time. But I realised recently that what really makes me happy is seeing other people happy and knowing that I had a part to play in that.
