We are seeking a men’s buyer who can take the men’s business we have started and take the volume up past 11. This will involve but not limited to: branding, product development, marketing, buying, vendor relations, BR, PR, a keen eye to trend and the capacity to charm almost anyone. You should also be a team player, and we’d also love it if you were kind of a big deal.

Do you know the difference between style and fashion? Are you creative with a keen eye for detail and are able to negotiate with charm and panache? Are you tired of mundane tassel loafers and sand suede desert boots dominating the men’s footwear market? Are you fashion forward, with an eye for detail, take a systematic approach and are responsive to changes in customer and employer demands? Do you find yourself finally realizing it is 3am after several hours lost on TUMBLR and various other social media outlets? Thom Browne gets weird(er)

The last of the men’s shows in Paris was that of American born and bred designer Thom Browne. Known for his shock value styling, theatrical story-telling and WTF sensibility, Browne’s f/12 showing (titled “Punks and Jocks”) was a humorous/terrifying take on post-punk, s&m gender bending fashion. Exaggerated shoulders, face masks and 1950′s football uniforms collide together for Fester Adams meets sexually-confused Alex DeLarge from Clockwork Orange.

The much anticipated mens REV-MAN from The Damned is now up in the shop. The industrial work boot with distressed leather, and combat tendencies gets a nice and needed boost with a just-high-enough mens flatform base in dirty white eva.
