On behalf of the office girls, I have to ask: are you tethered or untethered?
Haha, I’m single, but I’m also really busy with school. Plus, I’m broke most of the time. If that’s not a deal breaker, then hit me up ladies.

What’s the general style vibe down in San Diego, USA?
There’s not much a style vibe at all, but you know, that’s okay. What one wears isn’t the most important thing in the world.

On a typical Saturday night, your free time is spent ___ .
Homework, trying to sleep early. I’m not about the party lifestyle.

How did you fall into taking, as you say, “pictures of stuff?”
A couple years ago, I started taking interest in what I was wearing and putting outfits together. I got a lot of inspiration from style websites, and I wanted to contribute, so I started posting my own outfits online. My first outfit post received quite a bit of attention, and from there it just kind of snowballed.

Were you surprised when you started to gather a following?
Yeah, it surprises me daily, actually. It’s kind of funny; a couple years ago I was just some kid reading style blogs and flipping through fashion magazines on Saturday nights, and now, well now it’s still the same, but I get recognized for it. Go figure.

What besides blogging and photography are you passionate about?
I play the bass guitar, and I’m not very good, but I can play the Seinfeld theme song. From what I hear, that’s all that really counts. I also go to church regularly–that’s a big part of my life.

Current bad habit?
Sometimes I talk about myself too much. I mean, I have a website with hundreds of pictures of me. Do I really need to focus more on myself?

In what decade do you most belong?
Right here, right now. I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t belong here.

If you were confined to wearing one brand for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A.P.C. Absolutely, no question. Most of the pieces are basic, but also versatile and well made.

In five years you will be…
I’d love to work as a photographer. Ideally, I would be commissioned to do some type of fine art or fashion photography, but I’d be happy shooting weddings and senior portraits as well.
