As you should know, our “Save Your Soles” donation program is still going strong. In fact, we’ve received recognition from a fellow blogger over at Shuz Society. Last week, babysgotnewshoes asked all readers, are “you ‘solestruck’ to give back?” Below is a copy of the post:
the “sole fairy” provided many an opp to give back this past holiday. the e-folks at solestruck.com are giving you an opportunity to give back NOW! they’re partnering with Soles4Souls.org and National Relief Charities and giving YOU 5% off each pair of gently-worn SHOES you donate, up to 15% off shoes on their site. we spoke with Solestruck’s Julie Maddox about the initiative, “Both charities tell us that shoes are one of the hardest items to acquire for people… we make it so easy to donate—someone pulls their shoes out of their closet, calls us, we mail them a donation card with a prepaid UPS label to put on any shipping box, and they drop it off at any UPS drop off location or Staples. Once we get the donation, we email them their discount code to be used on their next order as a thank you for supporting this project.”
it’s pretty simple. spring is the time for cleaning out your closet, getting ready for the season’s have-to-haves. so, as you’re making room for new styles, keep in mind your gently-used can have a new home too! for more details, check out Solestruck.com.
Now what are you waiting for? It may only be halfway through January, but maybe you can convince Mother Nature to send the sunshine early by starting your spring cleaning now!
