The Black Keys won 3 Grammy awards last night: Best Rock Album for “El Camino,” and Best Rock Song + Performance for “Lonely Boy.”
Shit still bums me out that “Lonely Boy” lost to “Somebody that I Used to Know,” but that’s just me being pretentiously anti-mainstream, right? Which is even more ironic considering the fact that anything nominated for anything on the Grammy’s is, in itself, mainstream. Right?
BUT. These guys make me nostalgic for a time that I never even lived through–and with modern music. This is music I wear boots to, road-rage to, karaoke to (while drunk [and/or crying]), smoke a cigarette pretending to be a heartthrob to, etc. CAMON GRAMMY, CAMON.
