‘TIS THE SEASON!! (Red shoes rule.)

I’m in a holiday mood.

It’s true, it’s only October, but between the COLD weather and the ‘nog offerings at Dutch Bros., I’m feeling like it’s time for Festivus poles and sparkly lights. Can you blame me?

Anyway, because of this deliciously festive mood I’m in, I thought I’d show all y’alls some fun seasonal offerings from The theme I’ve chosen today is the ultra-fab color RED! Yes, it’s often very femme fatale, but red shoes often have a playful innocence to them that remind me very much of winter.

Clarks Cute BarFor quite a while, I’ve totally lusted over the Clarks Cute Bar in Ketchup. This shoe boasts the classic comfort of Clarks shoes, along with their signature plantation crepe sole that adds texture and bounce to your step.

I’m a huge fan of anything mary jane-ish, and this definitely falls into that category with a nice and thick vamp strap ending in the cutest round buckle ever! The leather is extra soft and totally smooth, and the toe is slightly upturned with a sort of snippy quality to it that makes it shaped almost triangularly.

There’s even inversed stitching at the heel for extra texture and to give it a little more flair. You can get this color, along with a few others at Solestruck now for $99.95.

Steve Madden ImperealAnother shoe I’m totally in to right now is the Steve Madden Impereal. If you can handle wearing a heel, you’ll surely love it, too!

Besides its totally demure red color, I love the fact that this awesome shoe is patent. I’m also digging all the T-straps that have been in lately. Yet for me, this feels very much like a version of the T-bar adjusted perfectly for the season. If the patent doesn’t scream “HOLIDAY,” then take a look at the ultra-textured verticle strap.

Multiple ruched layers create a cool petaled effect that adds tons of texture to any outfit, whether it be a skinny jean or a tailored skirt. How cute would this shoe be with just about any outfit?

You can get this color–or the same style in black–at Solestruck now for only $84.95.

BCBGirls MoshFinally, the last shoe I want to show you today is the BCBGirls Mosh.

This shoe falls somewhere between casual and dressy, so it’d be a good choice to dress up jeans or dress down a fancy skirt.

There’s tons of texture with a supportive stacked heel, mixed with a slightly crinkled patent leather upper. And again we’re seeing the sweet mary-jane trend with a thick strap crossing the vamp, ending in an elasticized faux-button.

You can now purchase this shoe–in either black or the shown cabaret red–from Solestruck for $84.95.
