Venice is no stranger to flooding (it’s known as “The Floating City” for a reason) but right now, over 70% of central Venice is completely underwater due to (*COUGH* GLOBAL WARMING) a bout of bad weather and heavy rain over the past few weeks.
This collection of imagery from The Atlantic is kinda incredible. It would appear things are pretty much “business as usual” over there. Ya know, give or take a meter or two of water.
