To Be Announced, which flies under the moniker of TBA among it’s most loyal shoe fans, recently partnered with us and a crop of our favorite bloggers, for a peek at how top industry fahionistas style their favorite pieces from the current Spanish based TBA pre-fall collection. We started right here in Portland—partnering with Nubby Twiglet. Nubby, a Portland based designer, blogger and graphic design guru has a giant fan base of followers addicted to her posts, her photos and ongoing updates on all things design. We have had the chance to work with Nubby from time-to-time on design projects for the store and site—and we love this girl! We had a feeling a black wedge with gold studs might be right up her alley–check-out how she styled TBA.
Next, two of our other favorite bloggers hail from opposite coasts–but are part of the Solestruck family through years of working together in the industry. Kiara and Bridgette have both worked with us from different footwear lines, and on different promotions over the years. Kiara, the voice behind LA based Tobruck Ave. brings to her blog a sense of Cali-ease and effortless styling, that showcases hints of her European background. The hyper visual posts keep it fresh and enticing—and we love her take on the TBA Dungeon boot. Bridgette, the voice behind Fashion Like Heroin, or FLH, is one of our favorite ladies around town, and by town, we mean a LES housing project. Not only can she drink, dance, and flirt the night away, she is also a non-stop-fashion-rant-fest. With personal style that combines Wang, and Forever, Celine and secret finds from her voyages to China–this pint sized fashion insider blows up her blog one high-energy post at a time. With honest reviews of her fashion wants and recent runway cameos, Bayley lays out her somewhat unhealthy fascination with the FASH one post at a time—and leaves you begging for more along the way.
Hailing from Las Vegas, this fashion focused young babe is turning the desert on it’s ear one outfit post at a time. Grizzelle first won us over with his fashion-splosion based TUMBLR some time ago—he just recently started a full functioning blog as well. His styling work, both on himself and his cast of friends turned models is often the topic of discussion around the Solestruck watercooler—as well all love his takes on runway-meeets-vintage and combinations of rock-and-roll meet glam. In short, we frickin’ love this boy—and we know there are big things to come from this insane talent who just graduated high school. His take on the Dungeon boot brought all things together into a perfect focus for us!
Giving you the sweetest looks on the planet, our girl Willabelle Ong is coming at you all kinds of fierce from Down Under. The tiny framed blogger, has a loud fashion voice on her continually updated blog PALE DIVISION. We live for her party pics, fashion updates and her love of mixxing both high and low, as well as patterns/prints/colors. Born in Singapore, but living full time in Australia, this 17 year old fashion babe won our hearts over last year when she worked a fierce cameo on our site as a guest blogger.
And rounding out the group is this babe, Madeline Hansen of Jean Greige. She’s got a style that our hearts are throbbin’ for, with influences from the likes of Drew Barrymore and Courtney Love via the 90s, Songstresses of the 60′s and 70′s, and fellow bloggers. If you haven’t seen her floating around on Tumblr, then you must be under a rock. In addition to being a regular on the interwebs, she’s also the owner of Tunnel Vision, her INCREDIBLE vintage shop; stop by there to give your wallet a heart attack from all the amazing pieces you now can’t live without.
Stay tuned on the blog for personal interviews and style porn from these great fashion bloggers coming up all this week!
